On the 347th day of the war on Gaza, Al-Baraka Algerian Association supplied essential medical equipment to the Baptist Hospital in Gaza. This initiative was made possible through a generous donation from the medical team “Balsam Al-Jarah Al-Jazairia” (Algerian Wound Healing).
This initiative is part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to enhance the medical capacity of the hospital, which suffers from a severe shortage of medical supplies due to repeated attacks.
The medical equipment provided is a vital step toward improving the quality of healthcare under the dire conditions faced by the Gaza Strip. These supplies are crucial in ensuring necessary medical care for patients, especially during times of war.
The Baptist Hospital (also known as Al-Ahli Arab Hospital) is one of the oldest and most important healthcare institutions in Gaza. Located in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, it serves the residents of Gaza amidst the siege and frequent attacks, making it a critical facility for meeting medical needs.
On October 17, 2023, the hospital was targeted by Israeli forces during one of the most violent attacks in the ongoing assault on Gaza, further straining the medical infrastructure in the region.
Al-Baraka Association continues to call for donations and contributions to its “Fulfilled Promise” campaign to support Gaza.
Those wishing to help can donate through the designated bank accounts or contact the association via the numbers provided on its official platforms.
