As the Israeli aggression on Gaza enters its 351st day, the Algerian Baraka Association continues its relentless efforts to provide humanitarian relief to displaced families across the region. One of its standout projects is the field kitchen in Mawasi Khan Yunis, which prepares and distributes hot meals daily to thousands of displaced families.
A volunteer at the kitchen shared that the Al-Baraka Kitchen, developed with Allah’s grace, prepares over seventy pots of food each day, feeding more than 15,000 displaced individuals in the area. He emphasized that this initiative aims to bring joy, especially to children, by providing hot meals to numerous camps under the association’s supervision.
This kitchen is part of the “Fulfilled Promise” campaign launched by the Algerian Baraka Association at the onset of the aggression on Gaza. The campaign is a comprehensive humanitarian effort providing food, shelter, water, and psychological support to children, widows, and families of martyrs.
As winter approaches, the hardships faced by the displaced escalate due to the ongoing blockade and dire humanitarian conditions. The volunteer highlighted the overwhelming number of pleas reaching the association, reflecting the immense needs of displaced families. These efforts symbolize a profound trust placed on the Algerian Baraka Association and serve as a call to all benefactors in the Arab and Islamic world to stand in solidarity with the people of Gaza.
Donations and charitable contributions from the Algerian people play a vital role in bolstering the resilience of Palestinians, spreading hope amidst challenging circumstances.
Despite the ongoing aggression, the Algerian Baraka Association perseveres in alleviating the suffering of displaced families through material and moral support. Thanks to the generosity of Algerian donors, the field kitchen in Khan Yunis continues to serve hot meals daily, keeping hope alive in these trying times. As one volunteer put it: “Your donations and charity make a difference and create hope, strengthening resilience on this blessed land.”
